Lately, due to the current economic climate, we’ve seen many companies nationwide feel the flow-on effects of the cost of living. Understandably the costs associated with operating our clinic facilities increases every year.

Unfortunately, the Medicare rebates are not indexed to meet current inflation.

Practice Fees from 1stJune 2023

Standard consult < 20 min - $ 90 ( Medicare rebate $41.20)

Long consult < 40 min - $ 125 ( Medicare rebate $ 79.70)

Extended consult > 40 min - $ 160 Medicare rebate $117.40

Sunday Consultation rates varies

Standard consult < 20 min - $ 105 ( Medicare rebate 53.65 )

Bulk Billing Eligibility Criteria

· All Children aged 16 and under

· All Valid Concession Card holders (pension card, Health care card and DVA card holders) for existing patients of this practice only

· All Health assessments & GP Management Care plans for Chronic disease (every 12 months). Review of these

care plans (minimum once in 3 months)

Failure to attend & Cancellation Policy

Please note that our practice charges $50 if you are unable to attend the appointment and have not cancelled within 4 hours of the appointment time

Certain procedures – Wound Dressing/ Excisions/Suturing/Foreign body removal/ Implanon/Punch biopsy etc may attract a fee. Please check with the reception before making the appointment.

Following services are privately charged with no Medicare rebate.

At the time of your visit, you will be required to pay for your consultation. Payments can be made via cash, credit card or EFTPOS. We can refund eligible Medicare claims on the same day.

There are other nearby health services available, including: physiotherapy, dental, chiropractic, radiology and pathology services. Additionally, we are just a short walk to the nearest chemist, allowing patients to quickly and easily collect prescription medicines following appointments.

All of our Medicare-eligible general practice services are bulk billed for patients holding a valid Medicare card. This means no out-of-pocket cost for most general practice consultations.
